I had both lights come on in my e39 and e46. In PA soft its saying its the DSC pump on my e39 and the steering angle sensor in my e46. In my e46 though a bad alignment and crooked steering wheel were triggering the lights. I got an alignment and the lights have not come back in thousands of miles. On my e39 though its more than likely the ABS How to fix BMW E46 tail light faulty warning. Lights working but faulty error light still on the cluster ???

Everything else seems to work, radio, nav, AC, lights, indicators, and no other warning lights on. There is no electric current in key position 1, so I swapped out the ignition switch for a new one as the dealer said that would be the problem, but its still the same with the new part, no power in position 1 for the radio, etc. and in position 2

Now the problem is that when i turn on the headlights, the dash display One of them is probably not functioning correctly. Use the cluster tests to read the values of each fuel sensor. Then you should be able to determine which one is not working. It could also be the siphon jet pump that transfer fuel from the left side to the right side of the tank (where the fuel pump is) The cluster test would show this also. bm4yZLR.
