But when i put a v2 in there, there is no screen coming. The TV is getting a signal, but no screen is showing except i change resolution to the lowest. And even if i change that, its sometimes dosnt work (tested with 2 v1 and 2 v2 Switches).
The bottom line: This newer version of the Switch allows you to play your favorite Switch games for longer stretches. It has a battery life of 4.5 to 9 hours and can be used to play on TV or in your hands like a handheld gaming system. This is definitely an improved model from the original and makes for a great gaming system.

j0a0a7. • 2 yr. ago. I went from a v1 Switch to Oled model and the biggest difference besides the screen is the battery life. The newer chip besides the vulnerability being patched is much more efficient at running cooler, which is why the battery life is much better.

One for erista (V1 only) and the rest (V2, lite and OLED). The Vs of flex cables are variations of routing either through the top, left, right, loops back down, etc. You just cant mix these up because the 2 flex types have holes/slits that differs. Basically, you probably can’t tell for sure, but if you bought your Switch new on a popular retailer such as Amazon, in mid to late 2020, or after that, it’s very likely you have a Mariko Switch (V2).
